It is a teacher who loves her subject and that is clear through her thoroughness on the topics. There was way more in a high school course here than I ever learned in school. The assignments having options help students to connect more and think comprehensively on each week’s topic.

My daughter took Vertebrate Zoology Session 1 as her first high school science class while homeschooling. She always made it the first class that she wanted to accomplish each week, said it didn’t even feel like school because it was so much fun, and is really looking forward to her Vertebrate Zoology Session 2 class. She’s really excited about the field trip to Panama but will need to wait until next year when she’s a senior. Thank you, Mrs. Middlebrooks, for sharing your knowledge and passion for science!

Mary Middlebrook’s Harry Potter Genetics class was engaging, informative, and challenging. Our student loved being able to choose a difficult level, to be graded, and to challenge himself.
