This 4 week “quick guide” to the universe will introduce students to the basics of our solar system and beyond- planets, moons, stars, meteors, comets, and more! And LOTS of hands on activities!!
In this 1 week course, students will read and explore a short story by American author Shirley Jackson, and then we will explore how this story has influenced other famous works in American culture (such as Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games series!)
In this four week class, we tour the ancient Mediterranean to learn more about these mystical, and sometimes legendary, man-made wonders and their place in the ancient world.
